We love our local outdoor children's theatre. It's so low key and there's just something about it that feels old fashioned. For $2, you can see a play for kids, performed by kids. There are a few wooden benches but mostly people just bring a picnic blanket and snacks and curl up on the lawn. We've seen "Rumplestiltskin", "The Ugly Duckling" and "The 12 Dancing Princesses".
We also bought season passes to the indoor theatre. We saw "Go Dog Go" and "Charlie and the Chocolate Factory" and the "Monster under the Bed". The kids in these plays were so fantastic and we enjoyed it so much. Wyatt was a little afraid of the monster under the bed but luckily he turned out to be a nice monster so we were able to enjoy the show. It's such a special treat and a great way to introduce kids to the theatre. They love it!
