The Leiners come to town...

My parents and brother were in town for a week visiting with us. My brother was on his annual home leave and Pittsburgh was his final stop before flying back to South Korea. It was great to see him, even though it was only for a few days. We packed a lot in. We took the train downtown to Station Square, had dinner and checked out the view. We made a trip to the zoo and aquarium, something I always love and my mom does too. We took a trip to Mingo Creek Park and waded in the water. There was plenty of downtime with puzzles, games, paper dolls and the usual kid stuff. It was fun for the kids to get to know my brother a little better and vice versa.  Josh and my mom took the kids out to lunch and to see Disney Planes. He had a chance to experience the life of a stay at home over the weekend and the demands of little kids. It was a bit more madness than he's used to and I'm sure he was glad to get back to his laid back lifestyle. We wish he lived closer and look forward to spending more time on his next visit. We miss you Uncle Josh!

Excuse the double chin angle. Hadley took this picture.

looks like the kids really gave uncle Josh a run for his money and Tate is doing really good keeping up with them now. If they could only remember later on how many fun things they got to do while growing up. Hopefully these blogs you write will help them remember.
