Some of the sweetest moments Wyatt and I share together are just rocking away in the glider, enjoying a good story. We have pretty much the same ritual - I read Wyatt a book, then he eats the book. He eats books of all shapes and sizes, on a variety of different topics. He doesn’t discriminate. He has tasted almost every book on his bookshelf. Tennessee has a wonderful program called “Books from Birth” where you sign your child up at birth and they get a free
book once a month in the mail that is age and
gender appropriate. They are very nice quality hard-back books and many are written
in both English and Spanish. In my opinion, you can never read to your child too much or have too many books. We love to see what our new story will be each month!
