It's a pumpkin eat pumpkin world

Pumpkin carving is our favorite part of Halloween, yet somehow, in all the hustle and bustle of moving last year, we completely missed this tradition. We haven't carved them since Halloween 2006 when we were in Nashville, so we were definitely due.

Dayven puts a lot more thought and planning into his pumpkin, this year taking on the cannibal theme. Mine took much less thought. I just start carving and see where it takes me. For Wyatt's pumpkin, well, what else could it be besides you know who. Dayven did a great job with Wyatt's (all freehand) and it looks even more like Elmo when lit up at night. We carved them a bit early since we won't be here over Halloween. We're heading up to Fort MacMurray to see Charlie, Marta and Aniela.

Those are really good looking pumpkins!!! I will now be a little more cautious around Dayven when he has a knife.
