The boys weren't the only ones having fun. Marta and the kids came as well and we had a great time spending the week together. Wyatt and Aniela, as always, had a ball. They really are great friends and get along so well. Our week was packed with kid-friendly activities. We took the kids to the pool for a morning of swimming where they wore themselves out splashing and going down the slides. We checked out the drop-in gymnastics club. For just $5, you can run, jump and roll in the foam pit to your heart's content for two hours. I practically had to drag Wyatt out when it was time to go. We had some a few days of beautiful weather so we had plenty of time to just frolic in the yard with Finley. The kids had fun playing in the playhouse, collecting sticks and filling the fountain with rocks, Wyatt's personal favorite. We attended a book party, where we picked up many new treasures and spent a morning at the indoor playground releasing some pent up energy. After all the action-packed days, we were usually beat by the time night rolled around so Marta and I spent many a night relaxing on the sofa with a bowl of ice cream catching something on Tivo. Although we are glad to have Dayven back, we were sad to see our friends go and are already looking forward to their next visit.
