Is there anything sweeter than this?
This year was a sports theme, so they were all encouraged to wear their favorite jerseys. They were the only orange jerseys in a sea of black and yellow, but that didn't stop them from supporting their team. When they came home, Hadley told me proudly, "We were SO lucky. We were the only ones wearing orange!!" She was so happy to have her daddy there at school. She showed off her art projects, they sang a little song for the dads and they all did an "exercise program" together that consisted of jogging in place to a song. Sadly, I have no video of this. Dayven said it was slightly less awkward than last year when they wore dinosaur hats and sang a dinosaur song so I guess it was success. It's fun for the kids to show off their school to their dads and Hadley is always begging for Dayven to take her to school so she was thrilled.
