While we were busy "playing in Peoria", Davyen snuck away to Lake of the Ozarks for his annual golf outing with the boys. They stopped in Kansas City to pick up a couple of buddies at the airport and hit Wydot's BBQ, an annual tradition, before heading down to the Ozarks. They bunked up in the golf cottages where the outing was held. The heat index was 112 so it really took a lot of out of them. They didn't play their best rounds of golf ever, but they had fun. They also spent some time out on the lake, boating and soaking up the sun. He came back sufficiently worn out, sunburned and with a "bruised liver" so I know a good time was had by all.
