Grammy Claus is comin' to town...

Edmonton is quite the destination these days, despite the frosty temps. Grammy Karen is here visiting for the holidays. It's been nice to have so many visitors to keep us from getting homesick. We celebrated our belated Christmas with her. Wyatt isn't so interested in the unwrapping part, but had fun playing with his new toys and books.
Karen made her famous spaghetti and we continued eating our way through the holidays. We went to Hawrelak Park one night to see the lights display and showed her around our new town. We had an ongoing Rummikub tournament which we continued each night - Dayven beat us by a landslide (I'm beginning to think it's really not my game). We rang in the new year by playing games and watching movies and we were all looking at the back of our eyelids by 10pm, which has been the case the last couple of years for us. We took Grammy to our favorite indoor playground and even made a trip to the West Edmonton Mall. She's headed back to Denver on Thursday and we hope she enjoyed the visit as much as we did.

We're a long way from becoming "pool sharks".

Playing at the indoor playground.

The West Edmonton MallIt's hard to belive it's already 2008. We've had a great year and I can't wait to see what the future holds. I hope you enjoyed your holiday as well and that 2008 brings you much happiness!
