We had a great time visiting with our family this week. My cousin Elyse and her two girls, Emily and Sophie stopped by to hang out and spend the night on their way back home to Indianapolis after their vacation. My aunt and uncle came at the same time as well. We haven't seen them all in a couple of years so it was fun to spend some time together. The girls have gotten so grown up since we had last seen them and Wyatt and Hadley had a ball with them. We went swimming, played with moon dough (what a mess!), did puzzles and just enjoyed being together.
The girls were so good with the kids. They loved taking care of Tate, holding him and feeding him. They were even fighting over who would push his stroller. He has never had so many people clamoring for him at once! Hadley and Wyatt were excited to have someone to play with as well. They kept begging the girls to go in the jumpy house and they kindly obliged, even though Sophie told me it was "a lot of work for big kids to bounce in there". They even read bedtime stories to the kids one night! I wanted to keep them here the rest of the summer - what great babysitters!
The kids were very sad to see them go and kept asking when we would play with them again and if we could go to their house. The next day Wyatt asked to borrow my phone so he could "text Emily and Sophie and tell them to come over for dinner". We are glad to be living so close to family again and plan to do another visit with them soon!

I could hardly wait until we got home from our trip to read he blogs. I really go behind. We had a great trip. Now back to reality. Great you saved Wyatts outfit for Tate. You must have known a boy was on the way, way back then.
