... is finally coming to an end. This weekend marks the official end of summer and the promise of fall - my favorite season - lies ahead. I hope you enjoyed Labor Day Weekend as much as I did. I had a very relaxing weekend with my boys. There were plenty of football games on for Dayven to watch and every morning was like Christmas all over again when Wyatt woke up to play with all of his new birthday toys.
On Monday, we went to the annual party at the pool. We packed a pinic lunch and ate in the grass while we watched all the action, then went for a dip in the pool. The place was packed and the party was hoppin', complete with a DJ, limbo competition and hula hoop contest and of course, heaps of little fishies swimming in the kid's pool. There was plenty of activity and Wyatt soaked up every bit of it. We finished our weekend off with Dayven's famous burgers on the grill, potato salad, corn on the cob and a cold beer to wash it down, followed by some homemade apple crisp. The perfect end to the weekend!
