It was another beautiful weekend here in Nashville. Dayven played in a flag football tournament on Saturday. His team played the number one flag football team in the country for their first game (they lost), but they won their second game against a team more equally matched in ability. He's been playing with the same group of guys since we moved here and he loves it. It gives him a chance to burn off some energy (of which he has heaps) and also provides an outlet for his competitive spirit. It's usually the same crew, but they occasionally have someone different subbing on their team - this time the Tennessee Titans mascot served as their quarterback (Dayven plays wide receiver). They're playing in another game this morning.
After his games yesterday, the three of us went for a nice long walk in the park on the trail. Last night we fired up the grill, opened a bottle of wine and spent a quiet evening at home. After Wyatt goes to bed, we like to just relax and enjoy a little 'down time' together. We have another busy week ahead of us, then Grammy Karen arrives on Thursday for a visit.
