We had Hadley's field trip to the Spring House, a local dairy farm. It was a little hot and buggy that day, but we still had a great time. The kids got to feed a baby calf and also milk a cow. We ended our visit with lunch in their cafe and an ice cream treat!

At our county fair this wk. they had a wooden cow set up but she had a bag and tets and you could milk it. It milked really easy so they got lots of "milk". Not sure what they made the milk look real with.
