Fun at the Science Center!

Since we had a few days off over the Thanksgiving and we were getting a little cooped up after two days at home (no Black Friday shopping for us!), we decided to head out to the Science Center for a little fun. Tate is a huge train lover so the model train was a big hit. He was mesmerized, yelling "Wow! Wook! TRAIN!!!" over and over. It's my favorite too so we lingered a while at this exhibit. All the parts in the scenes move - boats that sail down the river, light that turn on and off, kids swinging in swings, an amusement park with working rides - there's a lot to take in. The kids even got the blow the big "train whistle". They had a make your own train track play area set up outside and we had to drag Tate kicking and screaming when it was time to move on to the next thing. It was the perfect way to spend a chilly Saturday!

That looked like such an interesting place to spend hours. I loved taking the grand kids to the children's museum. Again we never had anything like that when our kids were that age. Boo hoo. I'm having a hard time proving I'm not a robot!! can't make our the letters.
