Weekend with the boys...

Dayven met up with his college buddies from Mines this weekend for a little guys' ski get-a-way. They're all spread out (Albuquerque, Austin and Philadelphia) and don't get to see each other as often as they'd like, so this was a treat for them. They flew into Calgary, where Dayven picked them up and headed to Banff for three nights. They got a little taste of our Canadians winter temps and even grew beards to keep them warm! They skied all day Friday at Sunshine Village in Banff and Saturday at Lake Louise, which everyone agreed had the better skiing. Dayven is a great skier so he likes the more challenging runs. They got a ton of snow on Saturday so they had plenty of fresh powder. A full day of skiing wiped them out! When they were done on the slopes, they had a couple of beers and soaked in the hot springs before heading out to dinner. After dinner, they headed back to the hotel to play Farkle and hang out. No late nights for this crew anymore. Must be getting old! They always have a great time when they're together and I'm sure plenty of jokes and laughs were shared over the weekend.
