Dayven just returned from his trip to Highland Valley Copper Mine, the largest open pit copper mine in Canada. It is located in a remote part of South Central British Columbia. They mine an average of 170,00 tonnes per day and the copper is transported by rail to

customers in North America and Vancouver for export overseas to various other countries. Because the mine runs 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, the equipment takes a beating. They just bought 8 more large mining trucks so Dayven was there with the dealer doing a

site visit. He had to fly to Vancouver, then hop a very tiny comuter plane into Kamloops, a small town near the mine.
